Authoring Tool An intuitive tool within Ilmiya that enables educators to create, edit, and publish educational content. Supports various media types including text, images, videos, and interactive elements.
Avatar A digital representation or image that users can select and update to personalize their profile within the Ilmiya platform.
Badges Digital rewards given to users for completing specific tasks or reaching certain milestones. They enhance user experience by recognizing achievements and encouraging engagement.
Calendar A feature that tracks user activity, such as login streaks, and provides a visual representation of engagement over time.
Class A grouping within the LMS where educators can manage students, assignments, and course content.
Component The unit-most level of Ilmiya courses. A component is essentially a lesson — it can be either a tutorial or an exercise. You’ll find the Element Editor inside a component to create a complete lesson.
Dashboard The main interface in the Ilmiya platform where users can view and access various features, metrics, and tools.
Dictionary A feature within Ilmiya that allows users to look up the meanings of words, enhancing vocabulary and comprehension.
Directory A section in Ilmiya where detailed information about students, including grades and marks, can be viewed.
Engage The Engage section of the platform provides tools to manage and enhance the teaching experience. It offers functionalities for discovering and integrating new courses, managing course catalogs, creating and assigning tasks, and personalizing the student dashboard with additional applications.
Exercise Notes Detailed outlines or instructions provided to guide learners through specific tasks, activities, or exercises.
Foundation Ilmiya Foundation focuses on creating impact and aims to serve 100,000 students, providing them with quality educational resources and opportunities.
Ilmiya Education Cloud The overarching platform that includes various modules — People, Admin, Analytics, and Engage — providing a comprehensive educational management system.
Immersive Reader A feature that reads text aloud to enhance accessibility and engagement for all users, particularly beneficial for those with reading difficulties.
Leaderboard A ranking system that displays the number of students who attempted each lesson and their performance rankings, fostering a competitive and engaging learning environment.
Lesson History A detailed record of lessons completed by a student, including time spent, questions answered, mastery level, grade, and trophies earned.
LMS (Learning Management System) A platform that facilitates the management, delivery, and tracking of educational courses and content.
Mastery Level A measure of a student’s proficiency in a particular subject or skill, often determined by their performance in assessments and activities.
Mood Verses Inspirational or motivational quotes that can be added to a user’s profile to reflect their mood or encourage positive thinking.
People A module within Ilmiya Education Cloud where teachers and admins can manage courses, students, guardians, and staff. Similar to a Student Information System (SIS).
Personalized Learning Paths Customized educational plans that cater to individual student needs and performance, ensuring each student receives the attention and resources required to excel.
Report A structured document in Ilmiya LMS that compiles and presents data related to various aspects of the learning management system, used for monitoring and analysis.
SIS (Student Information System) An integrated system for managing student records, including enrollment, attendance, grades, and personal information.
Streaks A measure of continuous activity within the platform, often used to encourage regular engagement and learning.
Trophies Awards given to students based on their performance, often displayed alongside grades to recognize achievements.
Total Lessons A metric showing the total number of lessons attempted and in progress by a student.
Total Time Spent A detailed breakdown of the amount of time a student has spent on various activities within the LMS, tracked date by date.
Voice Commands A feature in Ilmiya Enterprise that allows users to interact with the platform using voice inputs, enhancing accessibility and ease of use.
Weather A feature that provides current weather conditions, adding a practical, real-world touch to the learning environment.
