Chat is your communication hub in Campus. It brings together group discussions and private messages in one place so you never miss an update from your teacher or classmates.

Two Tabs, Two Purposes

Accessing Chat

1. Click Chat in the top bar.
2. You’ll land on the unified Chat view with both tabs visible.
3. Switch between Discussions and Messages to navigate.

Note

Channels are created and managed by your teacher or administrator — you can participate but cannot create new channels yourself. Direct messages can be initiated by any user.

Note

Chat is separate from Notifications — the badge icon in the top bar that shows your unread notification count. See Navigating Campus for the full top bar breakdown.
