Catalog
All content in Studio is organized in a 5-level hierarchy. Understanding this structure is essential before you start building — each level has a specific purpose and nests inside the one above it.
Collection (Catalog / Pathway) └─ Index (Course) └─ Section (Lesson / Module) └─ Component (Topic / Unit) └─ Element (Question / Activity)| Level | Also called | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Collection | Catalog, Pathway | The top-level grouping — a full subject or learning track |
| Index | Course | A course within the pathway — covers a defined topic |
| Section | Lesson, Module | A lesson within the course — a logical grouping of content |
| Component | Topic, Unit | A topic within the lesson — contains the actual quiz/activity |
| Element | Question, Activity | A single interactive item — a question, video, or task |
A typical structure:
Collection: Islamic Studies Year 7 └─ Index: Quran Recitation └─ Section: Surah Al-Fatiha └─ Component: Vocabulary Quiz └─ Element: Multiple Choice — What does "Alhamdulillah" mean? └─ Element: Fill in the Blank — "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-___"Collections & Pathways
